I have desktop software (PlayOn Mediamall server) that automatically downloads subscribed TV shows for viewing at my leisure. The free shows contain ads, and my testing indicates MACE causes those downloads to abort. A split tunnel bypass apparently doesn't affect MACE, so I have to disable MACE to allow those subscriptions to work. An option to disable MACE along with VPN for specific apps would solve this issue.
