How to change DNS settings in Linux (using Network Manager)

To change the DNS server settings on Linux using Network Manager, please follow these instructions:

  1. Go to "System Settings"
  2. Click on "Network" 
  3. Select the NON-VPN connection 
  4. Click "Configure" 
  5. Click on "Method" and set it to "Automatic (DHCP) addresses only" 
  6. Enter our DNS servers ( and
  7. Click Save
