MacOS Monterey Bug - Internet Access

Authors list

Anticipating the release of MacOS Monterey, we want to inform all MacOS users of a Bug within this update. Using the Split Tunneling feature on this version of MacOS will cause a connection issue within your device resulting in the inability to access the internet. Simply having this feature selected (enabled) may cause a connection issue. Disabling the Split Tunneling feature will restore your internet connection and allow you to access your web browser.

Some systems may not be impacted by this bug and the transition to Monterey may go seamless. In the case that you are unable to access the internet after your upgrade, ensure the Split Tunneling feature is not enabled within your client’s settings.

This bug has been reported to Apple and we hope to have the Split Tunneling feature available to all users in the near future. If you have any questions or require assistance, feel free to get in touch with one of our Support Agents through our Helpdesk
