Uninstall the App
- Open the PIA app. If you are connected to the VPN, click the power button to disconnect.
- Select the three dots (⋯), then select Settings.
- Select Help in the sidebar.
- Select Uninstall Private Internet Access at the bottom of the page.
- If prompted, enter your Mac username and password, then select Install Helper (this is the standard macOS prompt). Do not enter your PIA username and password here. The uninstall completes once your credentials are accepted.
