Step 1: Open the Google Play Store
Navigate to the OpenVPN Connect app in the Google Play Store.
Step 2: Install the App
Select Install to download the app. Accept any required permissions if prompted.
Step 3: Download Configuration Files
After installation, close the app store and go to the Client Control Panel.
Select the OpenVPN version, platform, region, and port you want to use.
You can also select Use IP if you need a specific IP address instead of a server name:

Step 4: Import Configuration
When prompted, tap Open to import the configuration into OpenVPN Connect.
Tap Allow to grant access to files on your device.
Review the data collection notice, then tap Agree.
Tap OK to complete the import.
Step 5: Enter Credentials
After importing the profile, enter your PIA username and password. You receive these credentials when you create your account.
Your username follows the format p1234567.
Select Save Password if you want the app to remember your credentials.
Step 6: Add the Profile
After entering your credentials, tap Add to complete the profile setup.
Step 7: Connect
You will now see the available server list on the main profiles screen.
Select your preferred region, then tap Connect to start the VPN connection.
Step 8: Allow Connection Request
On your first connection attempt, the app will request permission to set up a VPN connection.
Tap OK to continue.
Step 9: Verify Connection
To confirm your connection, visit a site such as What Is My IP Address and check your IP address.
