iOS - Installing the PIA App

This guide explains how to install and sign in to the PIA app on iOS.

  1. In the App Store, search for “Private Internet Access,” then tap Get to install the app.

  1. Once installed, open the app and select LOGIN if an account already exists. If not, select SUBSCRIBE NOW and follow the instructions to create one.

  1. Log in by entering the PIA username (for example, p1234567) and password. These credentials are provided in the account setup email.

  1. Choose whether to enable notifications by selecting Allow or Don't Allow.

  1. When prompted, tap OK to allow PIA access to VPN profiles.

  1. Select Allow to add VPN configurations.

  1. Enter the iOS passcode when prompted. This is the device password, not the PIA account details.

  1. On the main screen, tap the power button to connect to the VPN.
