iOS - Installing the PIA App

This guide explains how to install and sign in to the Private Internet Access (PIA) app on iOS and connect to a VPN server.

Steps

1. Open the App Store on your iOS device.
2. Search for Private Internet Access.
3. Install the Private Internet Access (PIA) app.
4. Open the app after installation completes.
5. Select Log In if you already have an account.
   If you do not have an account, select Subscribe Now and follow the instructions to create one.
6. Enter your Private Internet Access (PIA) username (for example, p1234567) and password.
   These credentials are provided in your account setup email.
7. When prompted, tap OK to allow PIA access to VPN profiles.
8. Tap Allow to add VPN configurations.
9. Enter your iOS passcode if prompted.
   This refers to your device password, not your PIA account details.
10. Choose whether to enable notifications by selecting Allow or Don’t Allow.
11. On the main screen, tap the power button to connect to the VPN.
12. Confirm your connection status in the app.
