Private Internet Access (PIA) requires that you request all refunds through a support ticket. If you are eligible, contact Customer Support here or by emailing support@privateinternetaccess.com and include the following:
- The email address used to register your account
- Your PIA order number from your payment confirmation email

If You Don’t Have Your Order Number
If you’ve lost or misplaced your order number, you can provide the following based on your payment method:
- PayPal: Profile ID or Subscription ID
- Amazon: Transaction ID
- Google: Google Order Number
- Cryptocurrency: Your payment processor transaction URL and the wallet address you'd like the refund sent to. Note that you may have to contact Bitpay Support (support@bitpay.com) to get the proper, unhashed transaction URL.
How Long Does It Take for the Refund to Get Processed?
It may take 5–10 business days or more for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.
