Installing PIA in Safe Mode can help prevent third-party software from interfering with the installation.
Use the instructions below for your platform:
- Windows 11 and Windows 10: Boot into Safe Mode with Networking, then run the PIA installer.
- macOS: Start your Mac in Safe Mode, then install the PIA app before restarting normally.
After the installation is complete, reboot your device normally and launch the PIA app.
