Can I Keep the VPN Always Connected on My iPhone or iPad?

The PIA (Private Internet Access) app for iOS doesn't have a built-in always-on option, but you can enable Connect On Demand in your iOS settings to achieve the same effect.

This tells your iPhone or iPad to automatically connect to the VPN whenever your device has an internet connection, including after switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data or when you unlock your device after sleep.

How to Turn On Connect On Demand 

  1. Open the Settings app, then tap General.

Automate VPN Connections by Network
