Uninstall Using the Built-in Uninstaller
The PIA app on Windows, macOS, and Linux includes a built-in uninstaller, so in most cases you can remove it directly from within the app.
- Open the PIA app, then select the three dots (⋯) and select Settings.
- Select Help in the sidebar.
- Select Uninstall Private Internet Access at the bottom of the page.
- Follow the prompts to complete the uninstall.
Uninstall Manually
If the built-in uninstaller does not work, you can remove the PIA app manually using the guide for your operating system:
- Windows: Uninstall the PIA app manually
- macOS: Uninstall the PIA app using Terminal
- Linux: Uninstall the PIA app using Terminal
