How to Connect to a Streaming-Optimized Server
PIA provides server locations optimized for streaming performance. To connect:
- Open the PIA app.

Click the VPN SERVER section to open a list of available server locations.

Type “streaming” in the search bar.
- Select a server in your location and connect.
Troubleshooting
If you experience issues while streaming with PIA connected:
- Clear your browser's cache, cookies, and browsing history before connecting.
- Disconnect and reconnect to the VPN.
- Update the PIA app to the latest version, as older versions may cause connection issues.
