Private Internet Access (PIA) accepts various payment methods subject to automatic renewal according to the subscription terms you choose (e.g., monthly, yearly, etc.).
Customers interested in recurring subscriptions (automatically drafted payments) should consider using one of the following payment options:
Credit card
PayPal
Amazon
Google Play (through the Android app only)
Apple/iTunes
Customers interested in non-recurring subscriptions (one-time purchase) should consider the following payment options:
Crypto
Paygarden (Supported US gift cards)
iDeal
The non-recurring payment methods above can only renew through a special link sent via email. If you take no action, the account terminates automatically at the end of the 11-day grace period following the due date.
You can also pay for a subscription with a prepaid Visa or Mastercard. However, you must register the card first. As purchasing with a prepaid card processes differently, you must register it 24 hours in advance before the system accepts the card.
Another way to use a prepaid card is to add it to your PayPal or Amazon account. You then opt to use the prepaid card as a funding source for these payment processors. This allows you to use that card to pay for your subscriptions without needing to register it.
You may purchase a subscription via our pricing page here, or through the Google Play Store (on Android) and Apple/iTunes Store (on iOS).
If you experience any issues with purchasing a subscription or have questions regarding PIA services or subscription terms, contact the customer service support team here.
