For most users, we don’t recommend changing the default VPN encryption settings. Private Internet Access’s (PIA) default settings are designed to provide a balance of security, performance, and compatibility across a wide range of networks and devices. Changing these settings may result in slower speeds or connection issues.
Advanced users may choose to adjust these settings to troubleshoot connection problems or optimize their connection for a particular network environment. However, you should only change these settings if you understand how they may affect your connection.
