The Android operating system provides methods for managing VPN connections and invoking protections similar to a kill switch. Follow these steps to configure your system settings:
Step 1: Open Settings
Open the Android Settings interface.
Step 2: Network and Internet
Navigate to Network & internet.
Step 3: Advanced Options
Select Advanced to expand the menu.
Step 4: VPN Settings
Select VPN.
Step 5: Configure Private Internet Access
Tap the Settings icon next to Private Internet Access (PIA).
Step 6: Enable Always-on VPN
This menu allows you to enable Always-on VPN, which connects the VPN whenever possible.
Step 7: Block Connections
When you enable Always-on VPN, you gain access to Block connections without VPN. This setting prevents internet traffic if the VPN is not connected.
