First, download the Private Internet Access (PIA) app from the Google Play Store.
Step 1: Install
Select Install on the app page in the Google Play Store.
Step 2: Grant Access
The installation process may require access to standard device services. Allow these permissions for the app to function properly.
Step 3: Open the App
After installation, select Open in the Google Play Store, or tap the app icon on your device.
Step 4: Enter Credentials
After the introduction screens, enter your login credentials. You receive these details by email after signing up.
Enter your username in the format p1234567 and your password.
Step 5: Allow Permissions
After you enter your credentials, the app requests permission to set up a VPN connection. Select OK to continue.
Step 6: Confirm Configuration
Your device will ask you to confirm the VPN connection request. Select OK to proceed.
Step 7: Connect
You will now see the main screen of the app. Tap Connect to start the VPN connection.
The Current Region option below the connect button allows you to select a specific server location instead of using the default setting.
Step 8: Verify Connection
If the connection is successful, the status will display Connected and the connect button will turn green.
