The Private Internet Access (PIA) client software runs in the background. You can access the VPN interface from the system tray icon. If the icon is not visible, expand the tray by selecting the ^ icon on the taskbar.
After you download the application from the PIA download page, input the login credentials sent to your account email. These credentials include your username (e.g., p1234567) and your password.
The application saves your credentials for future use. The default display serves as the primary window for daily interaction.
Connection Status: A yellow connection button indicates that you are not connected.
Connecting: Select the main button to establish a connection. It is normal for the process to take a few moments.
Successful Connection: Once established, the button color changes, and the app displays your masked IP.
If you cannot connect, refer to the troubleshooting guide regarding changing ports.
