How Do I Cancel My Subscription?

This article will show you how you can cancel your Private Internet Access subscription. 

All PIA accounts (except for a select few payment methods) are subscription-based. This means your account will renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. 

If you do not wish to renew your subscription, you can cancel the automatic payment at any time directly within your Client Control Panel (CCP). You can also contact Customer Support here to cancel your subscription at any time.

Note: Cancelling your subscription will not issue a refund. 

The cancellation process varies slightly for different users but generally follows the steps below.

  1. Log into your Client Control Panel.
  2. Under Next billing select Turn off auto-renewal.
  3. You may see a benefits reminder like the one below. Select Turn off auto-renewal to proceed.
  4. You may be asked for a cancellation reason. Select Continue with cancellation to proceed.
  5. Select Turn off auto-renewal to complete cancellation.
  6. You'll see a screen confirming that your subscription has been successfully cancelled and you will no longer be charged.
