When you purchase a Private Internet Access (PIA) account, you must provide an email address. PIA uses this email address to send account and billing information.
If you entered an incorrect email address or lost access to your email account, you can update it in the Client Control Panel (CCP) under the My Account page.
Step 1: Log in to Your Client Control Panel
Log in to the Client Control Panel using your account username (p1234567) and password.
Step 2: Locate Change Email
In the CCP, go to Account Settings.
Under your current email address, select Update.
Step 3: Change Email Address
Enter the following information:
- Password: Your PIA account password.
- New Email
- Confirm New Email
After you complete all fields, select Submit. A confirmation message appears at the top of the screen.
If you cannot log into the CCP or experience issues changing your email, contact support for assistance.
To verify your account, provide the following:
- The eight-digit PIA order number
- Transaction ID
You can find this information in the payment confirmation email from PIA or the third-party payment processor used during purchase.
Note: The eight-digit PIA order number is not the same as the seven digits that follow the letter “p” in your PIA username.
