Private Internet Access (PIA) offers several VPN subscription options, so you can choose the subscription length that works for you. You can also purchase add-ons if you want to use additional features like a dedicated IP address or our antivirus product.

Available Subscriptions
You can purchase a PIA VPN subscription in two ways: via the PIA website or via in-app subscription (Android and iOS only).
Website
PIA offers the following subscription options via the PIA website order page:
- 1 month: Renews monthly
- 1 year: Renews every year
- 2 years: Renews every year
- 3 years: Renews every 3 years
Plans and special offers may vary. Visit the order page to see the deals that are currently available to you. Some subscriptions include additional months for the initial subscription term, depending on the offer.
Important: All subscriptions purchased via the website renew automatically. The renewal term and price for your chosen subscription are clearly outlined on the order page and at checkout. If you want to upgrade or downgrade your subscription, you can find instructions in our guide on how to change your current subscription.
In-App Purchase
Alternatively, you can also purchase PIA VPN via in-app subscription in the App Store (iOS) or the Play Store (Android). There, you can purchase either a 1-year subscription (comes with a free trial) or a 1-month subscription, though plans and special offers may vary. Please note that billing for these subscriptions is managed by Apple and Google, respectively, not PIA VPN.
Pricing
The cost of your PIA subscription depends on the subscription length you choose. For example, longer subscriptions offer a lower average monthly cost than the 1-month subscription.
All PIA plans are priced in USD. If you are paying in a different currency, the amount you will be charged is automatically converted from USD into your local currency based on the exchange rate.

Antivirus
Antivirus helps protect your Windows device against malware and other threats. You can add the antivirus when you purchase a new PIA VPN subscription at checkout, or you can also add it later on through the Client Control Panel.

Dedicated IP
A dedicated IP gives you a static IP address that only you use, rather than sharing an IP address with other PIA users. You can add a dedicated IP to your PIA VPN subscription at checkout or add it later on through the Client Control Panel.
Note: If you purchased your subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or paid for your subscription using Qiwi or PayPal Legacy, you cannot add a dedicated IP to your subscription.

Money-Back Guarantee
PIA offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for eligible purchases. To request a refund, contact the PIA Support Team within 30 days of your purchase.
PIA’s money-back guarantee does not apply to subscriptions purchased through Google Play and the App Store. Instead, you can request a refund through Google Play or the App Store, which is subject to approval by Google Play Support or Apple Support.
